Mt.Gox So it’s now officially mid-October. Where’s our money?
First Mt.Gox assured UK users (going right back to those who deposited money on the 7th of September) that they would receive their printed statement from Barclays at the beginning of October — meaning that any undocumented deposits could be verified. This was then changed, and it was promised that it would now arrive in mid-October.
I am making this thread to discuss any contact anyone has received from Mt.Gox in regard to this issue. And as well just to discuss the issue as a whole.
As somebody who has been waiting since the 24th of September, I am understandably becoming increasingly frustrated. Only a few days ago was I asked by a customer service representative to provide proof of my deposit, only to then be told the same thing AGAIN — that I should be patient and wait. This isn't the first time that a representative has misunderstood my very obvious questions and wasted my time.
Mt.Gox, if you are aware that there's a high chance we won't be getting our money back any time soon (if at all), then please just be honest about it. I know you don't want to trigger a frenzy of complaints, but I think by drawing out this tedious affair you're creating an unnecessary amount of suffering for those of us who would rather stoically accept their loss and healthily move on.
Perhaps though I should just accept it as lost money already and not worry about it anymore. Yeah, that's probably the best thing to do
Anyone else here feel they've been treated with a lack of respect by Mt.Gox with this issue?
